team shelby forums vs shelby forums
I just discovered there are at least two fairly comprehensive "Shelby Forums" on the net. Is one ran by CS and another a fan site? Any major differences between the two as far as reliability of information etc? Just curious,

Shelbyforums.com is owned and operated by Mr Shelby's grandson,
Randall? Shelby. It has more members interested in the 1965-1970 Shelbys.
The vast majority of members and posters on Teamshelby.com are 2007-2008 GT 500 owners. Since the merger of the old shelbyautos.com forum with stangsunleashed, there are now a lot of Shelby GT and GT-H owners on the teamshelby.com site too.

Mitch,
Team Shelby is a good site but there are some things I do not like about the contents in the GT500 related forums. PM me for details.
Thirdgen.org was founded in 1996 by a friend of mine who happened to live very close to me. From 1983 to present, I've owned at least one third gen Camaro and as many as four (concurrently). Having owned so many, I know a ton about their history/production, etc. As these cars aged and replaced with newer models, I still never got acclimated to the fourth gen, nor any of the other more "current" GM offerings such as the C5/C6, GTO, etc.... Just don't like the rounded styling. Enter the S197...... My '08 GT500 is my third in as many years. My wife currently drives one too (no not a Shelby).
My current third gen is a keeper. Not only is it super rare. There were less than 100 produced of which only 13 are confirmed today. Of these, mine is only one of two with the rarer and more desirable TPI / 5-speed. It also has sentimental value.
