Now the question remains -- how long until you can actually buy them for MSRP?

Awesome, a hell of a car for that kind of money. Can't wait till you can buy one at that price.

I got mine for just $2K over MSRP.

MSRP + ADM + GGTax + Delivery ($745): $44,975 plus options

Not too bad.

I guess it's not bad but anything over MSRP is too much for me. I bought my GT for $50 over invoice when they were going for $3000k over sticker in my area like hotcakes.

As things are going right now....$2000 over invoice is not bad if you got what you wanted. Were you able to order the options you wanted? This tells me that it won't be too long before some areas will start seeing them at MSRP. Maybe my choice to wait for the '07 GT will turn into a Godsend and end with me buying a GT500.

That is a lot of money, for sure. I dont know if I could spend that much on the car, as nice as it is. Dont get me wrong, I'm happy for anyone who is getting one, but that's a big investment.

I got the pricing info from http://www.stangsunleashed.com/forum...showtopic=1358

The poster was 'ISELLFORD' who is a Ford dealer and has always given accurate information on this board and others.

I've talked to three different dealers in Houston. One of them basically said to forget it, there's no way to even get on the list. Another said that it would take $5k just to get on the list and wouldn't say any more than that. The last one said they had 15 buyers on the list for 6 cars, and they were going to auction them off to the list.

I guess if you have to ask "how much?" you really can't afford it.

With tax, tag, title, and dealer fees it should be close to $47K. We might see rebates during the second year run and just about guaranteed if the Challenger and Camaro become a reality.
