Anybody have pics of a Shelby GT500 convertible....especially in Vista Blue

 

Sounds Like your Going to do a Shelby Conversion on the VB Gt/CS! I know where you can get the Parts! LOL!

Thanks to both of you for the nice comments! Yeah, I actually added the painted caps after those other pics were taken. I like those better than painting the whole mirror.

These aren't great pics, but you get the idea. That was my '03 that I just sold.

Next up, full OEM stripes!

 

Owh I just finished wiping up all my druel and now another beautie drop in NICE Tell me Gary you must notice the differnce from the other three Mustangs to the Shelby ?

Gary, those MAG mirror inserts look great!! I had them on my '05 now on my '07 GT/CS and am going to order them for the GT500 as well. Since my GT/CS and GT500 are both Vista Blue I was thinking of trying to remove them from the GT/CS...but I don' treally think I could get them off with some sort of cosmetic damage and then I wouldn't want them on the GT500....so I'm going to order them from MAG again...same story with the Red Line hood struts...by the way, I can tell you have been out enjoying that new GT500 as that grass is getting pretty tall

By the way... what is it with you guys and having MULTIPLE Cobra's/GT500's ...

 

Oh yes, HUGE difference in the driving experience. The 70 mach one is cool to cruise in but nothing beats taking the shelby out for a top down run.

I think if you took a heat gun or hair dryer to them they would come right off with no problem. The double sided tape they came with didn't look to be overly tough. Yeah, those pics were taken after 2 solid weeks of rain...got the cars out first, then did my yardwork!

As for why so many mustangs...I would have 20 more if I could!

Scottma...looking NICE...the car looks good too I have not been much of a fan of the red leather in the past - but have to admit it looks great with your black vert...not "overdone" at all

Question, did you get the PTP option? I ask because you do have the PTP pedal covers - but I'm not seeing the bright shifter bezel? Can't see enough detail to see if you have the leather on the armrests and dash lid or not

 

She is a head turner. So is the car. It has the 68 S Premier Trim Package.
