Shelby GT 500 at MSRP

My Shelby GT500 arrived today, white with blue stripes, got it at MSRP, even though it is limited to 3,000, there were no problems with the dealer, more than happy to sell it.
1/18th scale, by AutoArt, the best in diecast cars

I am still waiting for mine. The Torch Red w/Performance White stripes arrived a month ago and of course, I had to pay the ridiculous AMV and shipping charges.

But no taxes.

I found and ordered the white/blue Mattel Elite. It has the correct hood and wheels. I should get it Tuesday. Now all I need is my real car.

So you have doubts as to the honor of our words?
Of course it's the real thing!

Honeymoons are always unforgettable, closely followed by marriage counseling.

Marriage counseling is only required for those who have dashes that rattle. I had another type of counseling in mind for the whiners.

Correct. I am happy with my car and optimistic. But I'm a glass is half full rather than half empty kinda guy.

This is my 26th new car and it is as good as any I've owned.

The inclination to be defensive about a car surely suggests a half full kinda guy, not to mention 26 new cars. That's impressive!

That just about covers part one of the testimonial.

Seems the only defensive ones around here are those who don't have something they whine about. 26 cars over a more than 40 year period is not impressive at all for someone who drives cars rather than whines about them or how much someone else paid for them.

Tell ya what. You keep whining and I'll keep driving.

You apparently don't know George very well. Have you seen the cars listed in his sig, including the GT500? His name implies owning a Bullitt. I'd say George knows Mustangs as well as anybody on here.

Not that I really care, but I'm glad he "knows Mustangs as well as anybody on here". With all that knowledge he can fix his dash rattles.

I know I'd try to fix mine if it rattled.

Prognosis: ruffled feathers and insulted manhood.

Who could have ever imagined a little "no dash rattles" comment would expose such unique virtues.

Ahh! The old jumping into conclusion routine.

I am sorry to disappoint you sweets, but apparently the only thing that's being rattled is your chain.

CLICK, CLICK!!!

In your dreams pal. I'm not going to get my chain rattled over someone on the internet in my lifetime.

You did disappoint me though as I thought you would come back with something clever.

It really is all in fun, however I am sorry that you spent so much money for you two rattlly buckets of bolts. I only had one rattly car out of 26 and you got two at once.

By the way, have you thought anymore about getting that counseling?

They tell me that Bi-polar and scitzo folks have spells of superiority thinking they have the ability to ruffle feathers, insult manhood, and rattle chains all while using feminine adjectives such as sweets.
