He guys looks like Fred from Evo let it slip out of the bag they are getting an 09 grabber blue with black stripe 500. This was on another site. Grabber sure sounds like a boss is coming.

I think this might be it...

Guess the dealer trying to sell me an 08 with an ADM is not being truthful!

I'm not surprised that they will make an 09' GT500. Why wouldn't they? it seems to be the only Mustang in the lineup that they can sell without a rebate. I hope that people who have waited patiently will finally get a chance to buy one of these at MSRP! Unlike me I grew impatient and will have to wait a bit longer for my chance to buy a GT500. I'm thinking either a used 07-09 car or a new next gen car around 10' or 11'.

I think the GT500 is the only car in FORD's entire fleet that doesn't require a discount to sell. I'm surprised that dealers are still selling them with an ADM well into the second year of production.

I think the baby boomers are driving up the price of these GT500s, this whole "collector car" talk is a joke. Though the ADMs are less than they were when the car first came out it is still an expensive car. I think the MSRP was raised this year too. Bottom line is I'd rather have the GT500 over a C6 vette but I would never pay more than MSRP for one. The Vette was the better overall car back in 06-07 and now it has even more power, more luxury options, better steering / suspension while the GT500 is a carry over from 07 with HIDs and interior lighting being the new optional highlights. Don't get me wrong I do love this car but I'm finding it harder and harder justifying the price of this car at MSRP, never mind the ADMs for it.
I'm not trying to pick fights but that is just how I see it.

It's a great deal, should apply to GT500 and SGT as well.
They should just have a 'sale' instead of rebates.

Even if there is a 2009 GT500 run (likely) I don't think we will seen X-Plan for them given the short model year
