I thought that he was kidding?
The new car manager at Earnest MC Carty Ford in Alabaster, Al. told me today that they had sold a Shelby already. They have taken this persons money and he is waiting on the vehicle to be delivered. The dealership has received the invoice? build sheet? or what ever this document was.
The car is "Hugger Orange" with silver stripes as ordered by the customer.
Cost -$60,000.00 marked up for supply and demand.
Seems this person currently owns 17 other Mustangs of all years & models, and money is of no object to him.
He just likes them.

One going to Ernest, One to his son, One to a Doctor in Alabaster and I don't know about the other two.
They don't even see the lot- they come from the truck to the warehouse and then home to where they will live.

I stand corrected on the stripe color, Jeff Wheeler told me white and took it upon my self to correct him to silver. Or was it Lanny that told me, or maybe David Mc Carty.
Anyway there is someone getting an orange one, here in the local area.
Cool, at least someone gets one.

My wife, Jill called this afternoon from the house. Since I am out of town in Chicago for the race, she took it upon her self to go buy a new ride.
She was at Ernest Mc Carty when the gentleman picked up his SHELBY Convertible today. Grabber Orange with "white" stripes on the rocker area.
Loaded it in a enclosed trailer that had Ford & Mustang decals all over it,
the one on the rear said something about Gainsville? mustang club?
She said the car was "HOT" except for the paint color. IN her opinion.
But then she informs me about her purchase '06 Explorer Limited in dark cherry metallic. Great, now maybe she want continue to bother me about a Cobra.
My play shop is near the airport in a warehouse. Has all of our" toys" in it,
maybe during the MCA labor day meet, we can all get together.
