Ha! Someone actually got a GT500 at a reasonable price ($40783.08) - an honest dealer

Took his X-plan.

When I tried asking at my dealership...at least they were honest in saying, they wouldn't take an X-Plan for a GT500

Fact

The customer is a powerlease customer. He had a voucher guaranteeing him a 2007 SVT car. The price he paid was a win win, the margin that the dealer made was similar to that at MSRP.
Fair dealer and fair buyer. The voucher holders should not be paying dealer mark-up.

dealer mark-up.

Great deal for buyer, but the dealer did not make the same margin similar to MSRP.

You are right...they may have made more. When dealers sell at X-plan they receive as much or more than they would have at MSRP because of the factory incentives to sell to those eligible for plan pricing....check out the topics related to plan pricing on this site and you will see MANY mentions of this.
