The wheels and spoiler are disappointing..along with the fact that it weighs two-ton, otherwise i like it

Just to give everyone a reminder of what we'll have for a motor in the GT500, use the link below and play the "60 second TV spot for the GT". We may be detuned 50 hp, but I'm sure the aftermarket will provide a chip that will bump horsepower right back up there (even with the smaller S/C).

the new 5.0 & SF magazine says its alot different motor, same basic platform, but alot different, a fricken chip wont add 50hp either. a local dealer sold one to my dads friend (idiot) for 55k and says FRPP will sell and warranty a 200hp chip for it, thats why the guy bought it, wont he be in for a shock.

Same displacement but not really the same. Internals are different, supercharger is a diferent brand/type, etc

I seriously doubt it will be a 200 bump with a chip. Now a chip, exhaust, and pulley....nope still not there. I do think it will surprise us though with those kind of mods. I'm guessing we could get around 100 more hps with those mods easily.
