I talked to the parts manager at my local Ford dealer this weekend and he said Ford told them if they wanted one of the allocation Shelby's it would cost them 5K extra. Any one else hear this?

Sounds like to me! I bet they're trying to say it's Ford's fault there's an ADM on the car.

I just today rec'd confirmation on my dealers "Extra allocation"........I will be getting an 07 (#3) ! It is at MSRP. Delivery in spring 0f 07 or so.

Very lucky you if it pans out. If you not done so already, get that price in writing and signed by the GSM, before you get to excided about owning one. That's is price I would pay, but not one penny more.

Don't order those vinyl stripes, they don't look good. Put the money to paint.
