Condor

We all know by now the 03/04 Cobra's were internally code named Terminator. I seen that written on some of our early fixtures at Visteon. Our early GT500 fixtures had the code name CONDOR on them. Anyone else hear of this being the code name for the GT500?

I haven't seen them yet, I'll check them out thanks.

It's definitely the Condor. We've been calling it that since we first started building the pre-production cars......
Thanks Red Ryder. Are you a Ford/Visteon/ACH plant or someone else?

Condor vs. Terminator, I definitely think Terminator had a little more presence to it.

+1

Terminator: Bad-a$$, indestructible robot on a killing spree.
Condor: Big, slow, ugly bird that eats dead bunnies off the highway.

Yeah, that's the code name we have been using, too. When I first heard it, the shape of the body was under wraps, all we knew was that it was "based" on the S197. When some of us heard the code name "Condor" rumors began to fly about a new variant of the Thunderbird. They were quickly extinguished when we learned what the powertrain was.
