Best 1/4 mile time for stock GT500
Ford claims the GT500 can do it in 12.8.
Has anybody gone faster than that on a stock GT500.
I tried to go faster...My best time was a 12.9...which is still not bad...

I went 12.9 in my Mach on stock motor/gears (but with drag radials and some suspension mods).
I imagine with all the hp it's hard to keep the rear planted and tires to grip. I have seen a couple GT500's run at the strip with drag radials (and Dr's/Tune) and once you hook . . . . . look out! By the way, what was your trap speed and 60ft?

Evan Smith (editor at MM&FF magazine) ran a bone stock 07 GT500 down the 1/4 mile in 12.24 seconds at 116+ mph. He mentioned in an article that the GT500 would easily run high 11's with proper traction (slicks) and a good driver.
Similar to Evil Capri, my 03 Mach 1 ran 13.01 bone stock on drag radials, but the trap speed was only 105+ mph.
Getting the power to the ground is the issue in GT500's. The GT500's trap speed of 115+ mph shows that there is a ton of power. The ET's in the high 12's or low 13's indicates that launching the car is the toughest part.

12.11 @ 122 mph....that's awsome ...on street tires? What was your 60' ft time.
How much more boost do you get with the 2.6 pulley? Do you have to have the tune with the pulley? I wish I was that fast !!! I have to start adding the Mods to my car just to keep up with everyone else. Even some GT's are faster than me....
