I think the shift light would drive me nuts. I used to drive an old Volkswagon rabbit years ago that had that. Ugh. I hope they give us more than that.

The Borlas dictate when I shift not the idiot light.

I would think it will be standard on the GT500s as it was on '03/'04 Cobras. That might be Ford's way of expressing its commitment to gasoline conservation and keeping the green peace whinners happy.

Its funny...the comments on most from that board are hilarious.

It's like none of them learned that, a fast piece of crap is just a fast piece of crap....
With the new Camaro coming...I'm glad NONE of those guys run GM...or they'd have the most expenisve engine they can find in another crap box.... and it still wouldn't sell to more than 10,000 a year...

Those who don't learn by history are doomed to repeat it.

I think deep down they are afraid that the new Camaro won't have an offering that will compete with the top Mustang....

The way GM is going we all know what is coming... The camaro will come back in 2008-9 with a 225HP V6 and a 180HP V4

to Ford for atleast trying to keep one of the great cars still alive . Im hateing GM more everyday ."

Arc05, thats actually a very good question. Shelby had absolutely nothing to do with it (unless you count whoring ones name out as project development)

It's not just the Camaro guys that think that.
I've been a Mustang guy for over 20 years and I'm on my 5th one. Visually, the only things I like that they changed compared to the GT are the V6 side moulding, the stripes and the wheels.
The rest of the changes are hideous... especially that rear spoiler.

If you beat an LS1, it was because the person was not racing..not tuned right...playing with you...clutch problems...

The sad part is, the LS1 really does rock hard core--cheap to produce too. And cammed and ported...not much will beat them.
