Any word on when pricing will be released
#3
I've been wondering if the reason Ford has been waiting so long to set the price is they are trying to figure out if they need to raise the price above $40k. Lets face it... It looks like a lot of people would buy it at $50k and what would they loose? Give people 5K rebate when sales slow down and how many would think they are getting a bargain at $45k? I mean really… How many?
It's just disgusting.

I think your right. They kept the price of the 05 GT's close to the 04's, so I was hoping for the same with the SVT Mustang's. I know, wishful thinking.

We have other car lines such as Super Duty, 500, Freestyle to name a few that we are already ordering as well and that we are getting scheduled for may production and we do not have prices yet. it is not a plot by Ford to hold out to see how they can jack with the Mustang people. Every year we are ordering product at least a month before pricing is announced.
If it is any help, Ford announced no change in MSRP for most of the vehicles we have already been ordering for 2007. What they have not told us is our margins. In other words to the consumer it looks like Ford is not raising prices but I would almost bet that our invoices are slightly increased.

on this car official pricing is only good for knowing how badly your wallet will get hit.
This cars prices are already off the scale.
Thank you SHelby, Ford, the dealers and the jerks with more money than brains. (no offense Ed..I'd deal with you anyday, you are one of the good oones mate!)
