Definitely need to see it in person, not exactly that excited about it. I don't really see it as a shelby color.

 

Is Vapor Silver supposed to be the color of the Shelby GT500 KR that's been in all the mags with the blue stripes? 'Cause that does not look like that at all.

 

If I am gonna spend 52K, I would want a color other than Grey...

 

So this means 2007 production has ceased. Anyone know how many were produced?

 

I thought only 5,000 were only produced for 2007.

 

Though I love silver (have had a few in my lifetime)...silver is silver and it's hard to see any difference (at least in pictures) between Vapor and Satin Silver...

 

If you were to see Vapor and Satin or even Silver Met. ... vapor definately looks deeper and darker than either.

I used to have a an 02 in Satin, and although it was nice, it was on the lighter side of silver.
This looks deep/rich.

 

I like the Tungsten better.

 

Not bad but agree that the color could be a shade or two darker...little more gray...but agree #2 - pictures a lot of times simply don't do justice...with my wife's redfire, I was amazed at how deep (...and sparkly! ) it was in bright light, much better than any photos ever showed.

 

Nope. GT 500KR car didn't use Vapor Silver.

Come on people if you have seen a Gt 500 you would know that the one in the picture is NOT one there is no shelby badging anywhere. It looks like a regular gt with a body kit.

 

Are you clicking on the ebay link because that surely looks like a GT500 vert to me. It has the GT500 bodywork and the Cobra on the side and the SHELBY on the decklid, how does it not look like a GT500?

 

Yeah. I have to agree. It definetly looks like a Shelby GT500 Vert to me. Not to mention, that dealership would probably be sued for false advertisement and lose all credibility if they blatantly lied on an ebay auction.

 

I just sold a 2006 Satin Silver GT mustang I could have apparently sold you as a GT500!

 

Looks nice... wish I was willing to spend the money... just cannot justify spending over sticker on any car.

 

I love the looks of GT500's without all the "graphics". Stripes are so overplayed on these cars.

 

It's a GT500. Look at the window sticker picture.

 

ebay is not the most credible source in the world. Mock it all you want but I've seen these on the lots and they have interior markings that are not on that car. For instance the shelby signature on the dash, sill plates, carpets head rest, etc. etc. If this is one..its been stripped.
