Do you think you will be able to get the Shelby Ducktail seperately, if so when and about how much.
You are an unbelievably great source of info.
Thanks
Neil

Do you think Colorado red and torch red are the exact same color. The topic of the difference has come up before. The F-150 color is called vermillion. I wonder if they are all the same. Maybe someone from a paint store may be able to look at the mixing directions and be able to tell a difference.

Although my 2 x reds look similiar, there is a slight difference. The TORCH RED Mustang is actually a bit darker than the BRIGHT RED F-150.
Data Plate Color codes:
Mustang - TORCH RED = D3
F-150 - BRIGHT RED = E4

So . . .would it be possible to order the TWILL-TOP, later down the road and have it fit our GT's?
What's a TWILLFAST top anyway?

It is an Upscale Material Soft Cloth vs hard Vinal.
It will not be Inexpensive.

Yeah, the shape of the stripes for the hood is tell tale that it will be the one not a lot of people on here like.

I agree. That stripe design on the hood (with the cut outs for the vents) will not go over well.

If anyone can provide me the real '07 formula for colorado red, I'll have it and a Torch Red sample mixed and sprayed at my brohter's body shop. He has an excellent eye for color and can give us all a good description of how/if it differs from Torch Red, plus I'll post the side-by-side pics. I *suspect* that only ford has the formula at this point and that it won't be released until the beginning of the model year.
For anyone in the RI/MA/CT area, check out the best body shop in the US: www.autopaintri.com. Have you ever seen another body shop with white tile floors??

A lot of good changes with the colors. Valencia is better, I hope colorado red is a deeper cherry. Stripe color options are great. I hope there is a insert option for a blue car or white car. Black with deep blue inserts. They did this on the 2003-4 focus. Now I hope to god they do not use those horrible stripes with the vent cutouts!!!!!!!!!! I will not buy the car!!!!!!! After talking to SVT a month ago it seemed they were designing as new hood.If they are going to stick with this piece of crap hood no one likes the least they could do is run the stripes straight as they had done on the woodward yellow show car going around this summer.

For the price of this car the 2 toned interior should be standard in my opinion. Here are some picks of other cobras with different options. Black + Grey and Black + Tan are natural options. The Black + Red will only work with a black, white or red car depending on the stripes. As I stated before i would like to see a Black + Blue option.

God knows they've had plenty of time to listen to our complaints about this hood and do something about it. Only time will tell if they do.

Thanks for the pictures of your stang and truck, NICE. And the link that shows the names and colors. Here is why I am so interested. You see I will be painting my restored 1970 Mach 1 this spring. The original color is code T red. That is is same exact color that they call candyapple red on the 68's. That color is a little darker than the current updated reds. I love the F-150 red from 2003 they call code F1 vermillion clearcoat, and am thinking about painting it that color. But it seems like if I am painting a mustang I should use a mustang color. I acually like the truck red better than the torch red. So I am hoping colorado red is more like vermillion than torch. How do you all feel if it was your Mach 1 you were choosing a red for?
