ZR1 STYLE HOOD
I really like the look of this 5.0 engine. Yes I know a big chunk of it is a plastic facade. But, good looking none the less. Has anyone done a zr1 style glass window hood? I'd be curious what it would look like.
What do you guys think???

Sure, go ahead and do it! I think you should put a string of LED lights around the opening too. Then you need to get some stick-on reflective stars to stick all over the side of the car too!
Boy, wouldn't that be cool!!!

Only if they're blue LED's, all other colours aren't 733t.

Yeah it would at least be something if the ZR1 had the supercharger spinning in behind it.... but to show off the cover of it... what a waste.
Watch the Z28 have one too....
At least with the Ford GT you could see stuff moving, and the SC behind your head... kinda cool.

ROFL - Good one!!
I was hoping someone would make a glass panel hood for the 'Stang. I think it would be awesome!!!!! Why NOT show off the new 5.0 engine or a supercharger? Muscle cars have had scoops, risers and whatever else on them for decades - some functional, some just for looks. I love the idea of a glass panel. No LEDs or ricer crap. Just tasteful understatement so that those who care what is under the hood can quietly walk by and take a gander.
