You think Ford knows that the Mustang people
GT500 is by far the bast looking rear end and would not stop me from buying one.
The spoiler and the diffuser at the bottom really make it look good to me. And the GT500 spoiler really helps with all the rear lines with my eye at least.

shouldn't this go under 2014/2015... ??
again!? More bashing? Speak for yourself!
There's plenty of "mustang people" that find the 2010's leaps and bounds ahead and more modern than the 05-09 (which is what I take it you're basing the 2010's design in comparison to- since most of the bashing comes from that segment.). I loved the 05-09, but it's time was up. The refresh and stemming away from it worked in my opinion. I consider myself a "mustang person" and don't hate on any of the previous generations really... Mustang enthusiasts are loyal. If you don't like it- fine. Don't buy it.
100%
Was this another person from a gas station who confirmed this??
No one cares what a handful of 10 people say. Sales wise, and in the given economy this car is doing well. Mustang's total sales equates to 56,469. So figure a total sales of no more than 75,000. But realistically 63-68,000... Low- yes. But right in line with the current economy. And considering 2009 sales numbers of 60,096 and 2008's of 87,224. It's been a downward trend... As the economy betters itself and as the new and improved stable take shape obviously the sales will do nothing more but increase!
NO THE REAR END WILL NOT CHANGE FOR THIS GEN.

The billet laundry tub interior with mine shaft rubber pit drink holders and crowbar parking brake didn't stop you from buying an 05, not to mention the huge flat ***.
Oh I'm still here. I'll always be here.
eci has become the first and only member of my ignore list in the 2+ years and some 16,000+ posts I've made since I've been here.
I don't have time to waste on such childishness. I just got done complimenting the rear of the 2010 GT500 and I get the "you dish it out but you can't take it" crap that a 5 year old would do.

Actually, I like the 2010 GT500 spoiler better than the '07-'09. I used to think that it was a bit "ungainly" and the 2010's was better integrated with the look of the rear. No disrespect to those who own an '07-'09 GT500, of course...

And it's not like it's a taboo topic- the interior of the 05-09 is cheap. There's hard plastic to the extreme. And thus many buy all the billett components. So it's either like a brash shiney exposure of billett parts or a hardened plastic surround.
Many have been saying how ugly the rear is on the 2010- to which I find offensive... So I mean, they should just take it else where, i don't even know why this is still a thread.
It's all good- just our views on mustang greatness differ.
But with that fuels better innovation and more ideas. So it's healthy to vent it. Don't get so wound up man. He was talking to 1mike1... whom had another hate comment on the 2010.

But then the '05-'09 was better than the sn95 and that was better than the Fox. At least finally they have a best in class interior for sure.
I'm honestly sick of the rear end argument too. Seriously. It's been done. It's been hashed and rehashed. I've come around to loving it on the GT500 and liking it in most applications otherwise. I've said the car looks better on all three sides. I don't demean anyone's cars here or anywhere for that matter.
So I appreciate your post and I like you just wish all the rear talk would finally just go away. Then we'll be left with the giant flat assed 2005 and the billet laundry tub interior.
). Ultimately, these issues made me hesitate on ordering an 05, but by '06 I had to have one.
That is what makes this forum great. I love the 05-09 and the 10 still hasn't grown on me, despite some of the spectatular leaps the design has made. Ironically if they made an exact duplicate of a '70 I would probably be the first in line, or at least camping out!
Can we have a sticky at the top that is titled " ***** about the 2010 rear end here ". That way all the 05-09 haters can have a place to hang out other than polluting the rest of the 2010 forum with their opinion that no one cares about.
I don't go into the 05-09 forum and ***** about all of its MANY ugly factors in interior and body.
The 05 model is GONE! BYE BYE! It's 2010+ now, perhaps you can buy one used in a few years!
