Got the long awaited call from my dealer today... my car has finally made it to the Sunshine State and has arrived at the dealership! Although it made it through the PDI, it won't be ready until tomorrow morning. They need to install the GT500 spoiler and get her all shined up (although I could have done that part myself!)...

Can't wait... I'll definitely will post some pics tomorrow (as long as I can figure out how to put some pics in a post/thread, as I never included pics before... if anyone can help, it's greatly appreciated).

All I can say, I can't wait to drive her home tomorrow!!!! I'm soooooo excited!!!

 

Posting pics is relatively easy.

The pics have to be in an online album somewhere.

Then you just choose the pic you want to post, copy it's URL and then when you make your new post that you want to include the pic in, you click the little icon at the upper part of the message window that looks like a picture(has what looks like mountains in it) then paste in the URL of the picture and click "OK" and it will be added to your post.

I know there won't be much sleeping tonight... I'm usually up all night anyways, as I am working night shift. But the excitement is just overwhelming!

Just taking a quick break from reading all the material which came with the car, such as navigation manual and owner's manual, as these are the items I already have at home. Just checking in with y'all! LOL

Finally here!!! At 12:34 pm EST I took delivery of my 2011 GT Premium!!!!

For whatever reason, I can't get the insert picture in the post to work, so I attached my first few pics as attachment, as I promised you all some pics! Sorry, really didn't have a lot of time, as I spent most of my day driving, cruising around and playing with my new toy!!! Oh yeah!

Edit: Never mind... pictures are working... Mhhh!

Unfortunately they did not get the spoiler installed as planned, as their technician wasn't in today. They didn't want a rookie working on the car drilling holes - good choice!!! So I'll go back in on Wednesday for the spoiler install... by then, hopefully I get my window tint done as well.

Thanks guys... it seems like that I can't wipe this BIG smile off my face! I'm just having way too much fun.

Played around with SYNC, my iPod and my phone tonight in the driveway until the mosquitos got the better of me! Way cool! I was truly amazed how easy it was to connect everything to SYNC... didn't even read the manual, just tried it and voila...

All I can say... it's awesome... and when you step on it, well, you better hold on to your pants! Holy smokes!

BTW: I will not forget all of you still waiting on their new car... I know how it feels, but trust me, you will no be disappointed when you get your ride! Definately well worth the wait!!!
