A year ago today...

I was sitting here thinking I haven't been on TMS in a long time... I wonder when the last time I started a thread lol 4/7/2017...its fate.

Saying farewell

Well I never sold the car... the past 365 days have been some of the most difficult. March 2017 lost my job then was unemployed for a good 6-7 months. Finally got a new job then roughly 3 months ago lost my dad

The mustang is paid off! And thought to get myself a new toy.. a GT350 but I have decided to just keep what I have with no payment.

Anyway enough of the boring crap. I re-wrapped the car a Avery Matte Charcoal Metallic. I'm going to add a gloss yellow stripe down the middle to just add some pop. I think it would look good with the yellow. Below is how the car sits now.

If you don't mind me asking, what does it cost to do a wrap like that? Always been curios, never known anyone that had it done personally.

Oh ok. What would it generally cost to have something like that done if a person wanted to get a car wrapped? Ballpark for a car that size, from a reputable shop? Just wondering.

Thanks. Just always wondered how economically feasible it was to wrap one, just never really thought about having one of my own done. I like the concept and the idea behind it, just not sure it would be for me though.

Yeah, I remember your car back when you did it the mystic type color. Looked really good then too.

Sorry to hear about your dad. My condolences. Sorry to hear about your employment as well. Good luck man.
Car would look killer with some yellow for sure. Needs some "pop".

Also sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad along with issues in finding a new job until a year later, but in the end, you were able to get through it and that's what matters most. I also don't blame you one bit for holding onto to your 2011 GT, as it's very bad a$$ car and most of all, it's paid for and no longer have to worry about car payments. So no matter how you look at it, it's a win-win for you all around

Sorry for the loss and the rough ride you had but I'm glad to see you still have your mustang. The car looks awesome. I love that year with all the work you have into it. I hope you have Miles of smiles.

Thanks for posting and after seeing your car, you are definitely elevated to a Star Rap, er, Wrap Artist! Three to five K is the normal price and your car looks fantastic in your photos, so you saved a bundle. Most folks could not do it though, so you are showcasing your talent -- might be a second job for you?

If I had the room maybe on the side or had a shop to do it in I could. Its a lost of work plus with mine I tucked the wrap the best I could which involved removing all the panels that I could.

How'd I miss this thread? Russ - sorry for your loss, and glad you kept the car and your membership here. I too, go AWOL for a few months at a time. I'm that way in winter months.

Car looks great! She still running good? I can't see the pic in your last post? hmmmm

Being debt free is more important than having the latest hyped car on YouTube that will be forgotten about when the next great car comes out.
