X-Plan Clarification on 2013 Mustang GT Premium

Hello All

I am looking to buy the 2013 Mustang GT Premium on the X-Plan and I wanted some clarification.

Lets say the car invoice price is $33000. I understand that the X-Plan pricing is something around this number.

What i would like to know is that do Ford Incentives and offers apply on the X-Plan pricing ? Or do they only apply on the actual selling price of the dealer ?

Viz, $33000-(All incentives - Currently 2000+1000+1500) = $28500.

Would this be how the sale looks ?

Any further advice on this / ways to say more money / any help works !!

Thanks !!

When you buy on X plan you still get all incentives. I even had the $750 special coupon that Ford tucks into some of the brochures

So would i still get all those incentives after the X Plan.

Would this mean my demo calculation and assumption would be correct ?

Tax is calculated on the full price before incentives. The incentives work as cash down payment. Otherwise your pretty much right

Greaat !!

Lets see what the dealer can do for me !

I also applied for that brochure thing but never got it in the mail.. So no $750 coupon for me.

You think the dealaer can take it off now without the coupon ? Or take it off later ?

Cheers !

The dealer can look you up and see if you have one under your name even if you haven't received it yet. If he can't find you in there, chances are you're not on the list to get one yet.

I just got a card in the mail today with the $750 and one a few weeks ago, so they are mailing some out!

I did the x-plan for my '14 Premium, got all incentives + 750 coupon, very easy deal. When I applied for the pin#, it directed me to a site to build the mustang and gave me the price.

I'm amazed that you've found a year old 2013 still on a lot somewhere.

I just searched dealers around here and found a 13 Shelby at one, a 13 GT Premium at another, and 2 V6s, a GT, and a Boss at another! They are around!

i had xplan+incentives+750 coupon n all when i went into the dealership, but before i played my cards... i just took a quote from the sales person and put a number 6.5K lower than msrp... u knw the drill that happens after that.. up n down trips to sales manager... he agreed... so i ddnt use xplan or any of the incentives....simple plain old bargaining...

Ahaa.. I was thinking tax is calculated on the whole price of the car..

Like,

Price= +30000
Rebates= -4000
Taxes= +2500

Total = 28500.

No ?

For a 2013 you should be able to get the vehicle at $1000 or more below invoice. The $1000 is about the holdback of the vehicle. Also, Ford gives the dealers extra moneyback when an old model sells. Not certain how much but it should be at least 3%, could be more.
