X-pipes?

On the 2011 V6, ford says it has an H-pipe instead of an X-pipe. Both Borla and Ford Racing sell x-pipes for my car. Any opinions? Looking for a little more sound. I currently have Borla catback s-type exhaust with c&l CAI.

xpipe will change the sound. Probably make it a little louder. Doesn't the borla catback come with an xpipe though? Maybe im just crazy

Ok thanks. Nah, the catback doesn't come with the x-pipe although it should because that would be considered from the cat to rear

Bone stock the V6 has an x-pipe. Borlas catback should have come with an x-pipe. The axel back is just the mufflers.

Yeah, on one source Ford says the 2011 V6 has a "H" pipe, on the other it says it is an "X" pipe. Look under your car, it is definitely a "X" pipe, GT has a "H" pipe.

Is it true that an x-pipe creates more of a raspy sound while an h-pipe has more of that deep rumble? I got an 02 gt and im debating on gettin either a new h or x pipe but im not sure.

Here is an image of borlas catback. As you see it stops before x-pipe, they sell x-pipe completely separate for some reason. But do you think I should pay $270 for it?
