There are quite a few 2010 on dealer lots so I'd guess Ford wants to get these numbers down a bit further before letting the rest of the world know that the 2011 is worth waiting for. My guess is it will get updated around mid-March when production starts.

Short of the two new colors and wheel options, you can pretty much "see" what your 2011 will look like by building a 2010. As far as content & pricing of a 2011, you can do that with the two PDF files sticky'd here.

Edmunds works pretty well for pricing.

probably not until they start hitting the lots, remember the site is also for searching for your desired configuration or something similar in the dealer network so they probably want people looking for 2010s as long as they can

Agreed, though I tend to laugh at the "something similar" results they provide. "There are no cars like the 2010 Mustang you built, but we did find something similar! A 1982 VW Beetle! It has 4 wheels and tires just like you wanted!"

Ford's "partner" site (X-Plan) does not have the 2011 on there yet either . . . like they said above, I guess they are still hoping to sell off the remaining 2010's

They might update it soon, maybe just after 2011 production starts, but I doubt before then.

okay is it just me, but I am having a hard time with the ford mustang build site, I can't exactly "build" a car it shows the lineup but you can't choose any. All I get is a sign saying something about offeres from local dealers. Could Ford be readying the newer site?? hmmmm....

Just checked the site, and it workes fine. There is still no option to build a 2011 yet. Maybe you need to update your flash and java to make it usable.

Mine is scheduled for March 29th, its a GT but a stock order - don't ask the dealer changed my order on me. SUPPOSED to be at dealer the week of April 4th, but really have my doubts on that one. Has anyone heard of a ok to sell date from Ford yet?

My dealer has promised that he can get it shipped even though it's techinically been orderd as stock, but not until Ford ok's them out of a quality check hold.

Ford.ca now allows you to build a 2011 Mustang, maybe they'll update the NA site soon?
