Come on buddy. You barely beat a heavily modded wrx. That steeda tune over the FRPP won't net you much more. Plus, there is ALWAYS a faster car.

The boxer motor isn't very fuel efficient. Plus they run a full bar + stock.

So my questions is, is my car not performing right? Only has 275 hp, awd usually has the edge from a dig not from a roll. Doesnt make sense. Keep in mind i went to red line And my tune is pinging. I also want to add that i tried the track apps and got a 0-60 of 4.8 first try. It was one of these
Forgot to ask. Do you have the new track cal/key or the original performance cal?

Also the pinging...do you have an oil separator?

I really hope he was modded. I know there is always someone faster, i want it faster for myself. We are all after the thrill of hp, Its like a drug you want more and more lol. And No i have the original one with the procal. I am going to get one very soon, hope that helps. I hear that helps with the pinging.

Lol. Trust me, I get it. The Surgeon General should require a warning label on sports cars.

But yeah, the oil separator should help. What octane do you run? And have you toggled the octane adjust to on (I heard it doesn't help much though)?

Stock 2008 WRX STI runs 13.5 in the 1/4 mile according to a motor trend review. Also using the same magazine as reference the 2011 mustang gt ran a 12.8 1/4

I would just forget about that loser and the shoe car and rejoice that you aren't him. Pretty sure he ain't gettin laid no matter how modded he is.

News flash: Women don't like little shoe cars.

Motor Trend has the 09-13 running 13.5 but I've seen them stock running 13.1.

There it is. 91 plus no separator is almost a guaranteed ping. The separator should eliminate it. Fortunately I'm able to run 93 and also have a separator, so I should be fine.

The octane adjust supposedly allows for the retarding or ignition as opposed to it being locked. If it senses knock it will retard the spark. But I've read that it doesn't make much of a difference. Granted I've also read about people running 93 and a catch can and still have ping. Although they said it was only after the first start cycle after tune install and it never came back.

My 2012 STI was Stage 2. Cobb cai, downpipe, spt exhaust, and Cobb tuner with stage 2 cobb tune. From the outside car looked 100% stock. But it did not sound close to stock. How loud was his car? If it was bone stock you would barely have heard the thing, relatively speaking. In order to get any real power out of those cars the downpipe and exhaust has to go and when that happens you can hear it coming blocks away. My 2014 GT is not stock but it would kill the Subaru I had. But as I said before it is real hard to beat a 5500rpm drop in a Subaru. Especially the Sti with its upgraded diffs. On a roll my 5.0 pulls considerably harder than my sti ever did. Slicks on the 5.0 and its game over off the line also. Stock 2012 STI is about 240awhp. Never dynoed mine but I know my stage 2 was still under 300awhp.

http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/motors...mile-time.html Not low 13's bro sorry but you are wrong! The truth is that I am a car nut and I follow cars like the average 20 year old follows ****! don't argue numbers with me, I check my fax! thanks for the reply! I have to also add that most people can not crack the numbers that Motor trend can as they are not pro's!

You can put a downpipe and mate it to the stock exhaust which would make it pretty quiet still. This is what I did with mine.

Sounds like the WRX was definitely not stock. I would say it was stage 2+. Maybe upgraded intercooler or on E85.

Leaving the stock exhaust on a wrx or sti is just criminal!!!
