Wrx race

I came from a Stage 2 2009 WRX with one of the best tunes out there(Phattbotti). A Stage 2 WRX would probably keep up with a coyote but I still think the coyote would walk it. If it's a Stage 2 WRX on corn then bye bye.
Bad driving maybe?

According to the OP, he runs a solid 0-60. So I don't think it's driver. I think the wrx was modded.

I gotta go the track, i should have walked him. Driver error is out of the question. 3rd from4k rpm to redline with a quick shift to 4th.

Either I am missing it or its not listed, read posting rules and terms of service and I didn't see it.

But seriously, he wasn't stock. Import guys LOVE saying their stock after they beat or match a much faster car (I used to be one). It makes the faster car driver question exactly this and rack their brain.
I roast STG 2 wrx's. Even the newer ones. So he was probably heavily modded. And probably brake boosting too.

Yeah i agree. Thats why i was so shocked when he said his shoe box is stock. Lol typical import guy.

Haha i I know, i think because they are pushing high boost. You loose efficiency even with a 4 banger. Either way my 5.0 was sounding so mean, muted his car completely.

Coming from the turbo 4 world, the wrx is at a 13.5 second quarter mile bone stock. Just a tune and minor mods and you are in the 12s... These cars from a dig will be a pretty good match for the 5.0
Where traction isn't an issue (like from a roll) the mustang should win out. AWD has more drivetrain loss, but has much better traction... But there are focus st's and mazdaspeed 3s with fwd that will roast stock WRX from a roll and keep up with a 5.0. But they are heavily modded. I say he's probably modded and he probably had a gearing advantage at that speed. The mustang traps 10 mph faster than a wrx in the 1/4 so... He must be modded.
Actually after looking at motor trend data... The 2013-2014 wrx has no handling advantage and is slower in the acceleration tests than a track pack 5.0 he can't be stock. If you have a tune, and he's keeping up, he has to have at least a tune, intake and downpipe and have a factory freak
