Real nice pictures. Gotta love the indoor parking. I have one question. I believe the 68's had side marker lights. Maybe they were removed? Pre sixty eight vehicles escaped the typical government overreach.

My dads 68 doesn't have side markers...
my dad says there was a parts shortage & a assembly strike in the beginning of 1968;
they used Cougar reflectors in later 68 Stangs to save money.
& they removed interior knee padding & padding on the interior pillars...
& letters on the hood were gone in 68 to save money too.
They are all different in 1968; same as here in Canada, some had reflectors, some didn't.
& government rules changed then too...
1969 was first full year with rear lights.
