so i woke up this morning in a panicked state of mind.

i dreamt that my car had come back from getting a new rear axle but with an automatic transmission instead of my 6MT. also, for some reason, the dealer had left in the clutch pedal.

i don't even know how to interpret this dream. but it was the first one that made me wake up, as if from a nightmare, in years.

for those that don't know my car is at the dealer waiting a new rear axle since my ring and pinion self-destructed.

I have dreams of people backing into my car and I wake up pissed.

 

Maybe you secretly wish you had ordered an auto but still want to push a clutch pedal!

I never sleep good when my baby is in the shop. Hopfully they finish soon so you can get back to normal!

 

+1, i had several dreams where people backed up into/side swiped/ or just hit my mustang. i had one where a girl i knew from school drove by all fast and ripped off the front bumper, then she said she has no insurance and cant afford to fix it herself. i woke up from that one pretty pissed haha

 

I had one dream where I was driving my new 12 off the lot and at the very first intersection someone ran a red and totaled the car and I had a broken leg and some broken ribs and all I cared about was the car lol.

agreed. i love a manual. i love rev matching and really feeling connected to the driving experience.

i don't even mind it too much in stop and go traffic. i was on woodward during dream cruise and the 6 MT was fine. the clutch is so light that i really didn't feel it to be much of a nuisance.

 

My most recent automotive nightmare was that my wife bought a Nissan Murano without even telling me. I think the previous nightmare involved a Subaru.

 

I have dreams on the other end of the spectrum. I dream that I own a mustang, one night it felt so real I woke up the next morning and looked out the window for it to verify if I had gotten one for real or not.

 

I have this redundant dream where all these nice sexy chicks just want to pose right next to my car.

 

I have that dream while driving though NAU campus
