Just wanted to share some pictures of the WMS 2011 5.0 GT that we will be modding, tuning and racing.
Pictured is underneath the vehicle at some of the newer components such as the EPAS steering and the exhaust. The flange connection bolts from the header to the cat are upside down and the nuts on on the top, while thats no big deal on the drivers side the passenger side outboard nut will be the hardest one to remove.
Is a very nicely put together car and drives great. 21.7mpg on the trip from Cary NC to Woodbine MD today in 6th gear at 80mph most of the way. I did manage 138mph on one nice long stretch of I64 just outside Raliegh NC and it was still pulling hard.
The car will hit the dyno Monday morning and when I get back from tuning in Indiana late next week it will go to the track for baseline numbers. For now enjoy the pictures.

Awesome set of pics. Love the "mechanical" shots. Congrats on your sweet ride!
Not to be a buzz kill, but you do know 138 MPH will probably get you thrown into jail if you get caught, right? Be careful out there.

No hood flutter and it feels much better at speed then previous years for sure. It will still raise the front end pretty good under accel but much much better the previous years. Ford really did their homework on this car.
Oh and the blindspot mirrors are a little tough to get used to but once you do they work like a charm.
Thanks everyone, we are very excited to have this car and see what real world gains can be had with products and tuning. Our goal is to build this car the way the majority of our customers will using all high quality parts and superior tuning.

Could you take off the engine covers and snap pics of the coils and injectors? I'm interested to see how hard it is going to be to work on these things.

Strut brace removed, engine cover removed, coil covers removed and all done in less then 5 minutes. I pulled a coil and plug to show you guys as well. Iridium plugs.
Also the fuel rails have heater hoses going over the top of them so Ford put a piece of foam between the rails and the heater hose. Throttle body is big as well.
After I get back from Indiana next weekend I will be removing the complete intake manifold as well for pictures and for a project we are working on.
It hits the dyno tomorrow AM.
