Beautiful!!! Now all we have to do is 'wait' until we can buy an engine cover and strut tower brace for our V-6 Mustangs to finish the look of our engine bay.

Why do you have to wait to buy that stuff?

The strut tower brace for the V6 is the same as the 2010 V8 brace and I bet the new engine cover is available.

Alright, I gave her a nice wash and waxing today. Here are some nice daylight (Texas sun) pictures. Ford's black is like a mirror if you have the patience to maintain it.

And here are the daylight engine bay pics as requested. And there's a little gift for you at the end Jerry.

Just checked them out. They seem to be some kind of textured black plastic.

James, I'm really happy for you but the dealer didn't cut you any deals.

I got my 6 yr/100k warranty for $979. I didn't bother with the tire/wheel thing although in hindsight it might not be a bad idea with the MCA wheels. They're pretty limited production.

But to finally have the car after all this time is a relief and joy I share!

Enjoy the new ride. The black MCA looks great!

Shoot, I thought the $1200 price was pretty good at the time! I had gone onto Ford's ESP page with another delivered V6 VIN to check prices and that warranty (the premium one) was around $2k.

I was more upset that they low-balled me on my trade for about $1500 but I just wanted the car too bad to walk away from it and they knew there was no way I'd find another one just like it. Oh well, I'll have my survey to fill out soon enough. In the end, I got a fair interest rate and a $1k rebate instead of the $500 I was expecting. I love this car too much at this point to be upset anymore.

The car is fantastic and more than I ever expected but I do have a couple minor gripes about it as well. None of these are new issues but I'm sharing anyway.

1. The visors are so thin/flimsy that my garage door opener falls off.
2. The cup holders are in the way of my arm when shifting and I have to drive like my right pit is on fire if I have a drink in the car.
3. The 115 MPH speed limiter is ridiculous. It'll do that at about 6k RPM in fourth gear and still pulling strong.

James -- glad to see that coolant sticker is right. I think I may have a "collector's item" with mine. I'll have to print the original post (from EvoTech, I believe) that called out the "hold reasons" citing that.

Gotta ask though... black in the Texas sun? How's that workin'?

And yeah, the warranty price was a little high. They weren't cutting you any great deals but it also wasn't terrible either. I just hate it when they make you THINK they're giving you a good deal and the reality is they're flat out lying. Let the survey speak volumes. One way or another that $200 they made today will be lost 10-fold or more down the road with honest surveys.

Oh, re the visors ... my salesman told me those "clips" on the visor were for the garage door opener. And the visors are definitely the cheapest part of the car.
