Wiper Fluid Spray Clog...
Passenger side of the hood I have a clog/low flow from the Nozzle spraying washer fluid onto the Widow.
Has anyone taken the nozzle off the hood for inspection? Simple and straight forward?
Is there a point in the system to look for a debris clog, at the tip of the nozzle?
Figured I'd ask questions before I pulled things apart.

I torn mine up a few weeks ago during a hood replacement, then figured them out a bit. I bought a new pair from Tasca for like $22.
About a foot back from the back edge of the hood there is a small connector which you can twist and then slip out the fitting that is part of the hose. That leaves the sprayer assembly piece that is snapped into the hood with a clip. If you can get a screwdriver in there you can release the clip and then pull the whole assembly forward and remove it.
Maybe seeing this picture will help you visualize it. Part number is AR3Z 17603.
Once removed you should be able to blow thru it and confirm if blocked or not. Or you may want to just order one or two and be ready to replace if needed or you break trying to remove.
Oh yeah, you have to remove the hood liner pad because it's all behind that....

Are you sure it is clogged? Look under the hood to see if any fluid is leaking from behind the insulation panel.
My washers stopped working a while back, and I would lose fluid quickly if I tried to use them . . . I thought the washer bottle had cracked or sprung a leak or something . . . finally figured out that the fluid lines that run between the hood and the insulation panel had been all chewed up (by rodents apparently) and were leaking like crazy. It looked like a real tough job to run new lines through there, so I tried a temporary repair by wrapping with electrical tape and so far it is working.

I've done this before. Just remove the hose from the nozzle and take a blow gun with rubber tip and blow it from the outside. You don't want to blow from the inlet as it could further jam the particle in the nozzle

The compressed air idea is on my list to do before I remove the nozzle assembly from the vehicle. Will disconnect the fluid line from the nozzle and then use compressed air to see if that takes care of the issue.

I got one from the dealer and could not blow thru the new one. Also could not blow thru the old one.
The guy at the dealer said there is a check valve in there, the old one feels like it has rubber in there as I tried to clear it with a pin and could feel it going into something..
Weird. Will install later and see if it works.

I was saying to blow through the nozzle only while disconnected, but it doesn't look like that is possible on these cars. Disregard my post everyone!! BAD INFO!! lol

To confirm for anyone in the future that will be replacing their fluid spray (Ford calls it a Jet) you can't blow thru the assembly as there is a check valve.
When they fail just get a new one for in the neighborhood of $10.00.

I just ordered a pair of these because the hose comes off on the passenger side after 2 or 3 squirts. I tried clamping it on and the hose on the tank blew off. Hopefully replacing them will fix it, but I'm not getting a warm a fuzzy. I had a after market hood installed and my jets look nothing like the ones in the picture. Mine are in a somewhat square housing that's attached to the hood with some sort of glue.
