Winters are off, Summers are on!

It's been amazing weather in Chicagoland and it doesnt look like that's gonna change, so the winters have come off and gone into storage.

Forgot how much I loved the stiffness of the Pirellis. And combined with the new koni's and p springs, the ride is tight and on rails.

Anyone else put their summers on?

Had mine on for two weeks now - good thing because we're supposed to be 70+ degrees all week!

Need to get a set of jack stands and a jack for my new place, but it might happen this weekend. Still waiting to see the forecast for next week to make an official decision.

I originally posted this in the Warranty area, but since everyone is changing back to Summer/ All Seasons, I thought I would ask if anyone noticed this problem when putting the Pirellis back on:

"Can anyone tell me if the stock Pirelli P Zero Nero A/S is a side specific tire.
I was taking off my winter tires, and putting the Pirelli's back on, when I noticed the tire tread on the passenger side tires was running in reverse of the tire tread on the drivers side. The tires are mounted correctly (they are marked 'Inner" on the inside of the tires. They have never been off the rims. They came from the factory this way.

I went into the dealer this morning for the differential vent failure, and showed the advisor the tires. He said he had never seen this before and gave me the Ford customer service number. I have sent an e-mail to Pirelli, but have not received an answer. I was waiting to call Ford to see if Pirelli responds.

I am attempting to load photos, but there was a "security token" missing. Not sure what that means."

Thanks..this is driving me a little nuts

The summers are not p-zero neros, they are just p-zero tires.

Any directional tire will have an arrow that says rotation on the outside of the tire. No arrow, not directional.

My Michelin PSS are on and the Wintersports are off. Koni yellows, Steeda sports, and Watts link are getting tightened up as we speak.

All I'm missing is the watts link.

It's on the list along with LCA's and relo brackets.

Going to pick up a jack tomorrow, wheels are coming off shortly after. Plan to prep the summers tonight. Soon it'll be time to finish the suspension with a few more bits; FRPP struts, bump steer kit, front sway, and new strut mounts.

275/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sports all around. Koni Yellows, Steeda Sport springs, and Fays2 watts link. The chassis is pretty darn badass.

Just need to get my Star Specs on the S2000 and I'm all set.

I have been through this with my BMW but I sold it. I have a 13 coming in similar form as yours with the BBP and I am concerned about what to do if we actually have a winter next year unlike this year. This will be a daily driver and I will get wheels and snow tires. Interested in what you are using for both wheels and tires. Trying to put together a short list for the fall and if I can buy it in the spring and save some money all the better.

I have a 3/4 ton suburban for back up but at 11 mpg I don't want to drive it unless I need to tow or truck or if there is a foot of snow.

I have 18x9 GT500 replicas from American Muscle ($139 a piece), with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 255/45-18 tires I got from discount tire ($250 a peice).

That combined with 2 60lb bags of sand in the spare tire well, and I had no problems in the winter, although it was relatively mild.

Hey SD CALSPCL,

Please PM me with your dealer, VIN, mileage, and contact info so I can look into this for you.

Thanks, just to be clear from your sig it looks like you have Brembo package, and those 18" wheels fit over the Brembos? Thought they had to be 19" wheels.

One other thing, is the over all diameter the same as the factory 19" package?
