I see it now. Mine says April 12th on the 'Window Sticker'. The paper work from the factory says my car was 'Produced' on April 13th.

Yea this is it.

Today is my build day and still no window sticker. I called the 800 number (who are awesome by the way), they said it was pushed a week. New build is 5/5 and delivery 5/19.

I think its an estimated date. Mine has been showing April 12th since April 5th, when i first viewed and printed my 'window sticker. My car was 'Produced' on April 13th. My Mustang is in 'Transit' and the paper work is still showing an ETA of April 23rd LOL!!! That day has come and gone.

The one day discrepancy is the time it takes the car to be built. Started on the 12th, finished on the 13th.

The Mustang factory has their poop together. I'm really expecting my car to come in any day, now that my ETA has past. I'm sticking close to the phone. I'm not going crazy waiting........I'm not..........

That does sound like a blend number which doesn't really mean anything.

From what I understand the blend numbers do go in order but it's a revolving number so it doesn't have any relevant meaning to us. The VINs are not in order, however.

I you need the date look just to the left of the Blend Number. 120100426 in my case. Drop the initial 1. 20100426 = 2010 04/26.

The Blend Number is the number the car is to be produced in (VIN's are not run in order). As stated it resets at 8999. Im just using the Blend to see how far I am from production. I believe 7290 will be in the first 100 cars Monday. They have been building roughly 300 cars a day.

How quick you get a car when you order has a lot to do with the combination of options. If you are waiting on Brembos for instance and they are being delivered at roughly 150 sets a week and they have a backlog of 900 orders.... you are going to be waiting awhile. Thats what they mean by restriction.

I got pretty lucky I think because my car was scheduled 21 days after the initial order. Unfortunately I lost a week in the shutdown.

I'm not sure your theory on blend numbers is correct. You say they're building 300 cars everyday and your blend is 7290, my blend is 8630 and scheduled for tomorrow.

Well that blows my whole theory then. I was told it was the revolving sequence they used for keeping up with cars going down the line.

300 cars is an estimate based on how many cars they had been turning out per work day with 7200 or so produced.

If the Blend numbers cant be counted on.... No Idea except I know its going to be hard to produce all the cars that got rescheduled to 4/26 in one day. Half the guys waiting on cars now have a 4/26 Build Date.

I would have guessed yours for end of the week production.

When I called last week they said I was in production on tuesday, so I knew I would be scheduled for the 27th since the whole hold thing was going on and when my window sticker was finally available it listed tomorrow as the build date. Another car from the dealership that was ordered as retail has a blend number of 8695 and is scheduled for tomorrow as well. His VIN ends with 272 and mine with 273 so who knows how it really all works

The plant is operating 16 hours a day, so they are building about 600 cars per day.

That is awesome. Now if we could just get another shift to build another 300 per day. . .

Sadly as I recall they're instead losing a shift later this summer.

Thank You! Finally some info. I thought they were down to 8 hours a day.

PS Does that mean they have already churned out 16,000 cars since they stated. No wonder the lots are all full.
