My new wheels/tires/PHB are sitting in my garage staring at me every day.. Every time its sunny i go "maybe ill mount it on the car today." check weather channel, and boom snow in the schedule. I hate Illinois.

Remember that old poster with the two buzzards on a limb? "Patience, Hell; I'm gonna go kill something." I've had enough Winter; I'm gonna gas up my little demon and head out for a few days... at least it will be warmer where I'm going.

I'm suppose to head downtown Buffalo for a car show inside the Convention Centre. Its going to suck trailering it down there. (enclosed. Trailer) with snow and wind.

Odds are house prices will be much cheaper. Move to someplace like Texas and you'll have no state income tax either. Gas prices are cheaper. Food prices are cheaper. Etc...
You don't need to earn as much if your cost of living is a lot cheaper. I earn half of what my cousin does, but I live in a house that is twice as large as his and have more nice stuff because he lives in California and I live in Texas. I haven't seen snow since December.

As to your actual point, yes, this winter is too darn long. I certainly wouldn't mind living about 600 miles south from here.

I'm going to take issue with this. Yes, I know the majority of calendars show March 20 as the start of spring, but it's malarkey. March 20 is the spring equinox. Spring starts when it starts and it's not going to be the same time from border to border. I don't know what's up these stupid calendar makers.

I do know I'm having the car Fluid-Filmed every year. That stuff is amazing. In the past I've done my trucks myself just driving the front up on a rock, but this car will have to go up on a lift to get treated.
