Will 2011 seat covers fit a 2006?

Some guy with a 2006 Mustang wants to buy my 2011 cloth seat covers...will they fit...? I know the 2006 doesn't have the backseat headrests, but he doesn't care if the holes for the headrest posts are exposed if the kit fits...

maybe if I rephrased my question...it would help...

for those who have owned a 2005-2009 Mustang...do the front seats look identical to the newer 2011+ models? Thanks.

Yes front seats are identical mechanically and the covers are interchangeable.
but only if he has Non-power seats.

edit: (also the front head rests are completely different staring with job2 of 2012)

manual seat covers will NOT fit on the driver side power seat.
manual will work on manual
power will work on power
power will work on manual (with some cutting on the d/s)
(leather or cloth is irrelevant & are interchangeable)

here's an example of a manual & power seat covers:
(both 2010 & both cloth)
the hole for the man. height adj will show if put on a pwr seat

IIRC, the bolsters on the '10+ cars are larger than the '05-06 cars. The GT500 and Bullitt have the larger bolsters which became standard in 2010. Maybe someone can confirm this, but I seem to remember hearing that somewhere.

Thanks for this pic...If the buyer has a power driver's seat...won't the plastic "side cover plate" hide the holes from the manual seat covers? Looks like it would...

Looks like it but doesn't. the power valance is over an inch shorter and won't cover the hole.

the head rests are also slightly different from '09 to '10 but i heard the covers fit, but if he has black cloth already it wouldn't matter just use the original ones...
