Why no stone with BG?

Why no stone with BG?
Why is it that grabber blue is the only exterior color that doesn't have stone or even saddle as an option? Really this is the only thing keeping me from committing to a V6. I can't really stand the all black interior which is why I like the 401a package on the GT, adds some extra color to the interior during the day. I know 2010s had stone available for grabber blue so what happened?
Just noticed I got the GB backwards, time to stop making post at 2:30 in the morning.

I think they have an interest in the resale value of the cars- even if people custom order combinations, if there are unsellable examples out there on the secondary market, it drags down the average selling price which could hurt future sales of new units.
These particular restrictions sound kind of lame since I imagine the colors would go well together but they might actually be hiddeous if you saw them in person.

Like I said, it seems like it would be okay but they have professional designers coming up with paint colors, interior colors and the combinations that are acceptable.
You and i might like it but it's possible that this would be the combo that would sit on the lot for months.
It was just a guess anyway.

I met the guy who designed the interior of the '10 refresh with all the colors and textures. He's a really cool guy. He is a professional interior designer and gets paid big bucks to do what he does. He said there is a lot of work and considerations that go into the combos that we have today. FYI.

Nice...how did you meet that guy?
BTW, you're not the famous Icehawk who came up with the popular alignment settings for the Miata, are you? I doubt there are many of us Mustang/Miata people but last something tells me that he too lived in Florida.

Sometimes the stipulations of what can or can't be ordered together are wierd. Like that you can't get a California Special in Kona Blue. In Canada the only way to get side scoops is a California Special. Unless you just order the scoops from the US, get them painted and put on. You can't even order them as a dealer-installed item!

Same reason you can't get Race Red with Brick Red interior. Too much freakin red IMO. I'm happy with the combo's available, I knew I wanted Red w/Black and the CS seemed to have been designed for me, so I went with it.

I'd like Stone with the Glass Roof. Which was available for 2010, but not 2011. I can't say I love Stone interior, but it's nice to not be ALL black inside. And I think it looks pretty good on that Ingot Silver V6 vert that someone has on here.

Race red is available with Brick red. Red Candy is not though, which would be my first choice.
