who's getting is 2011 GT with spoiler delete ?
I went with spoiler delete because all the spoilers they offer suck. I also didn't get the rear camera because it is built into the spoiler and that sucks as well. Ford should have put the camera in that spot when that big GT badge is, or anyplace other than the spoiler or the bumper. I may slap on a Cobra R spoiler like I had before.
For those of you liking the Hurst rear spoiler, there's hope. I emailed Hurst Performance about buying their rear spoiler. They replied that they will be putting out an accessories catalog this fall and the spoiler will be available at that time.
Cool to see so many of you guys favor the clean looks of a spoilerless car. The Bullitt is the prime example of how good these cars can look when not trying too hard to be flashy.
I thought long and hard about this oin the '11 because I hate the pedestal stock wing on my '09 GT.... If I wasn't trading the car in, I would be in the process of removing it right now.
When I was considering deleting the spoiler on the '11, I realized that it was VASTLY more subtle and tasteful...and I like the road racer looks. I also suspect that it might actually reduce lift a bit...or at least it LOOKS functional which is more than can be said about the 05-09 style spoiler.
So...I deliberated over it but in the end, opted to leave the spoiler on the '11. I could have gone either way.

sorry, but i think the spoiler delete makes the car look like it's *** is exposed - too smooth
i went with the standard spoiler as i thought the rear vid camera spoiler was too tall
i would have liked Ford to sculpt the decklid with a bit more of an upturn, then no tacked on spoiler would have been needed

A lot of people are getting the spoiler delete I've noticed, but to break this unanimity, every time I look at a spoiler delete Mustang I just see a void over the trunk lid where something just seems missing. I feel it least with the 2010s admittedly, but I still think Mustangs just look a little weird without the spoiler. I just feel it needs something, so I decided to keep the stock spoiler. Almost went for the pedestal spoiler, but I really didn't want the hood scoop.
The spoilers and scoops are great affectations of speed and help to make the car look really fast.
If that look is your thing, then go for it and enjoy your ride.
But, for those looking for increased performance and increased economy, a spoiler delete and a scoop delete is the way to go.
The decreased drag and decreased weight improve acceleration and improve fuel economy.

I bought a 2010 mustang GT candy apple red Track Pack which doesn't come with a spoiler about three weeks ago. I have been considering purchasing the GT500 spoiler since the day I brought it home but am starting to appreciate the clean "bullitt" style look of the car without the spoiler. I also feel like I'm the only one who knows my car is a track pack but at least with no spoiler a few knowledgeable car guys will figure it out when I drive by. Overall I think it would look hot with the GT500 spoiler but without one it leads one to believe it might be a track pack and adds a little bullitt character as well. Plus I don't mind having an extra 500 bucks in my pocket.
