BBR, Bama/chris rose, Tillman, will put out some pretty nasty stuff!
I say they won't get to every single option and parameter available to tweak the most out of a tune for a few months like the 05-10's. especially with that ti-vct stuff

I had very good luck with Doug at Bamachips on my 2007. 12's with nothing but JLTII and a Mailorder Tune with Stock Tires.
That said I may end up getting a custom tune this time and since Doug is no longer an hour from me that leaves some difficult decisions. Maybe Modular Powerhouse... Im likely going to leave it stock for a year. Want to take a shot at 12.4 this winter.

Agree 100%
Yea i think its best to wait and see what these tunes can really produce on customers cars. Just to much confusion going with all these different octanes trying to seem like more hp is being made than really is. I just want to see a customers car dynoed with 93 stock and then with 93 tuned not from 87 to 93 tuned and more than that track runs with these tunes. Not sure how some guys are running 13's stock and others claiming mi to high 12's stock.

The reason some cars are faster than others at different tracks around the country can be attributed to a lot of things, elevation, conditions, etc.
As an example, we have a 2005 Mustang GT shop car with only a Magnachager. It went 12.6 on 20's at our home track and does consistently. At E-Town, with no changes it went 12.2.
Results for our 2011 Shop car 100% factory stock, then back to back with tune on dyno and track here
Stinger1982 as mentioned also has our tune and he ran 12.68 @ 112 today. He has 20's and roadcourse suspension.

Rick LeBlanc
