Curious why you're on your 3rd 5.0 Mustang? Anything you didn't like about the 2011/2012? Or issues?

12 5.0 took delivery 6/6/11 up to ~8,200 miles.

First car - 99 v6 5 speed just hit 140k bought 10 years ago with 15k on it, still has original clutch ... reliability of it is the reason I ordered another mustang!

Most of mine are street miles...but have been to the drag strip at least 6 times. And usually make 6-10 passes a night. No issues so far.

I'm about to hit 10K and I took delivery Sept last year with 79 miles on it. I had 6024 miles on it since I have been in Germany and a lot of them have been spent at over 120MPH on the lovely autobahn. I'm love this place.

That sounds like fun. Too bad fuel is what, $9/gallon or so?

The short version, I'm impulsive, but beyond this being my 3rd Coyote 5.0, this is my 11th Mustang, and 26th vehicle overall in 26 years of driving.

As for anything I didn't like about the 2011/12, they had some issues, but none that could not be solved with a little patience working through Ford service.

As for the miles, I put some good miles on each of them, 2011 had 30k miles, 2012 had 27k miles, each averaging about 2k miles per month.

The regular price for 93 here in Germany is around 1.69 Euro per liter. The exchange rate has been around .73 to 1 Euro lately so I'm making out like a thief.

I don't believe in babying cars, you should enjoy them. Besides, it's not a Ferrari its a $30 some thousand muscle car. I just bought it 3 weeks ago and I have 320 miles on it and I drive it like I stole it. It's just a car...

I'm not a huge fan of putting <65mph commuting miles on the car. Really only want to take this car out occasionally to work and then out on weekends where I'm not so limited by traffic I can't take onramps at more than 25 mph or blast through a couple gears on an open road.

Boring, slow, painful daily commutes are for my Jeep (which I also enjoy driving might I add)
