I'll probably pickup a 2013 GT or GT500 after I sell my 2011 GT500 and buy my new house.

Or if the cost cutting will become even more obvious than it already is with things like the awful floormats, hood prop rod and the rough fitting trunk liner. Don't get me wrong, I love my car but those things in a car that cost 37k bug me, especially now that we can't even get the larger, logoed Lloyd's mats as replacements.

Only thing I am upset about is the recaros being available now, the stock seats are no where near supportive enough in the corners but I'm sure ford is going to charge an arm and a leg for those just like the boss recaro's to get aftermarket

Let's see what the $$ are for the '13 then maybe I'll think about one.

IMHO, it looks like she gained the "freshman 20" from the pics. I wonder how many lbs more than the '12.

Same here. Would have gotten recaro's on my order. Gotta love product evolution. Just keeps getting better.

I will get the '13 GT or possibly the GT500 depending on where I will be working. I trade in my cars every 2 years on average. I was going to hold out for the 2015, but I don't see myself waiting that long. I held off on mods because of that. If I can get X-Plan on the GT500, and they don't rape me on insurance, that might be the route I go.

I can honestly say, I like EVERYTHING about my 11GT more than the changes for the 2013. I was excited about the front fascia but aside from the grill... I'm not attracted to it at all. I love my hood, love my tail, I even love my unpainted rockers. I'm not a fan of the new tail lights, the new hood, the new front fascia.. specifically the lower part. I'm keeping my 11GT

I'm not...

I'm definitely waiting on the next Gen. (gimme some spy pics!)

Then if needed and don't like it (which I truly think Ford will do an awesome job on it) perhaps peck of a black '13 GT500 with like 5-10k miles.

I'll be trading in my '11 GT 5.0 for the '13 GT500 once they are available. Hopefully with X-plan I can get a GT500 w/ track + perf package under 60k.

When is the true redesign supposed to happen, 2014 right?

Edit-I really like what i'm seeing from the 2013! Might be the best GT yet!

no...(after a day to let it sink in) i really can't stand what they did to the front...they finally fixed the rear (really like),only to turn around and ruin the front.

to me it doesn't fit with the rest of the cars design...the lower grills are to busy...they flare out to the sides, giving the car too wide of a look towards the bottom.

give me a 10-12 front end, with a 13 rear and id have check in hand...but with this design ill hold off until 2015. (and hope for a slightly smaller pony car..that doesn't continue the whole ford focus, fiesta, new escape,taurus...big plastic mouth design)

It's basically a GT500 front end on a GT?? I bet in a hard top with a drop and wheels it will look really nice..

Edit- (Judging from the pics in the sticky)

Front end reminds me wayyyyy too much of this abomination. Not impressed with the looks of the refresh at all. Head and tail lights are too ricey for my tastes and all the new electronic toys are one more thing to break and distract drivers.

Not me, I lost $7000+ getting rid of my 2011 for my 2012.

Also, Will be 2013 still have the stupid prop Rod? I ask because a lot of the aftermarket fixes are not applicable to the Shelby Hood or at least they say they aren't, maybe due to the extra weight. Doesn't look like 13s will have a fix.

Well I love the 2013 gt500 but I can't afford one. Not feeling the new gt at all. Going to stick with what I have until at least 2015

I'd be surprised if dealers accepted X plan on a new GT500 until at least next fall. There is going to be too much demand.

I agree with others I wish I had the leather Recaro's and new rear but the front takes a couple steps back IMO.

They have to accept it. The question is whether or not they put yours in with a good priority so that you actually see it before 2013.

I'll be going back to the same guys that I bought my 2011 and 2009, they like me enough I think I'll get in no problem.

I should have said the dealer does not have to honor X plan.
