Where place pads from commercial lift?
It's pretty much a known fact that these cars must be lifted at the pinchweld locations. Addon1s, the company that manufactures specific 2011-2014 Mustang jack pads says to lift off the ends of the pinchweld (!), and not even on the frame on each side of it.
I will be using a commercial lift from an auto hobby shop on a military base. I have a 2013 GT. Where do the four telescoping jack pads go: directly over the end of the pinchweld or next to the pinchweld on the frame?
My car has the stock side skirts so if the pads go over the pinchweld it will contact the plastic side skirts and mess them up, I'd think.

The pinchweld spots are where a dealer/mechanic would put the lift supports and the side skirts are plastic/flexible so they're fine. You shouldn't even need the jack pads for what you're doing, though they are fantastic for using a floor jack at home.
