Where is my new Mustang? Help!!!

On December 20th I ordered my new GT Premium, Ruby Red, 6 sp, Comfort Group, rear view camera, 3.55 gears, and all weather mats. Ultimately the arrival date at the dealership was set to be March 8th-March 14th. I was at the dealership yesterday and the sales manager told me there was a "Miscellaneous Transit Delay," and no date has been set for arrival of my GT at the dealership. I called Ford Customer Care and was told by the rep with whom I spoke the same thing the sales manager told me; transit delay.
Does anyone know what a "Miscellaneous Transit Delay is? Is Deysha able to locate my car?
I'm ready to be institutionalized over this!
Thanks for any help.

Hang in there brother. I ordered a 2010 GT in Nov. 09. Because of the bad weather it took 12 weeks to arrive at the dealer. My guess is that you are now in the same situation. Sorry I can't ease your mind on the wait, I know it's a killer. Hope it shows up soon.

Yup, most likely just a weather delay.

Yeah i am guessing the weather is a factor in there somewhere. I hope you get her soon. I know the wait must be killing you like it did for all of us. Hang in there

This is the standard story...I was told "no more than 8 weeks" and it ended up taking 12. Rest assured that it will be worth the wait.

Please post up pictures!!

Hopefully it wasn't loaded on the autorack train from that big derailment the other day. Load of fords, if it was in a car that came off the tracks it has to be scrapped.

That could be the misc transit delay, they have to see what car it was on. Insurance says any vehicle loaded into any auto rack that has one or more wheels off the rails or impact must all be scrapped. It could just be a blanket delay until an inventory of the affected cars is made.

Good luck.

Ordered my '14 on 14 April last year, and it arrived 21 May... and every day in between was pure hades!

The last two days it was sitting 14 miles from the dealership in a lot just waiting for a semi to come get it. I was about ready to stage an op to liberate it!

Delivery day is a blast! If you can, you want to be at the dealership when she rolls off the truck, gets all the plastic taken off, etc.

After I read your post about the derailment, and regained consciousness, I realized something. The message I got from Ford about the "Misc. Transitsit Delay was initially sent on Feb. 28th. If the derailment happened a few days ago it couldn't have involved my car. Could it? Please say "no."⅞

Thank you Deysha. It's certainly comforting to know you're "on the case."
I PM'd you on Friday.

So that IS done on purpose. You must come through Ohio then because that has happened to me twice. Train is almost past the crossing and stops with 3 cars left to get past and just stops.
