Where can I find 2013 taillights for a decent price?

hello, I am one of a thousand guys looking for 2013 tail lights for their 2011/12 cars. I'm in Canada so between the exchange and shipping costs it ends up being crazy-expensive like $1800. do you guys know anywhere where I can find affordable 2013 tail lights for sale. I see a lot of them on ebay but they're crazy expensive just wondering if you guys know anywhere that I can get them for cheaper.

Welcome to the forums!

They're just crazy expensive. Even at car-part.com when I looked for LH 2013 tail lamps, I found them... at 450 and up Canadian for used off of a salvage car. Ebay canada is also stupid, and ONE tail lamp from American Muscle is 1000 or 1500 depending, US, which is even more in Canadian I believe.

I also found some on that VisageTome SellingLocation, in my area as it happens, but not a sponsor, not a recommendation, just a suggestion of a maybe that you can pursue... $550: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...4932152420146/
I tried to use BC as the location, but whatever, it's CountenanceVolume ShopArea, it do what it do.

There's this site you can use to search all of craigslist, and I plugged in one here: https://www.searchcraigslist.net/res...ng%20taillight

But yeah. You ain't gonna get them cheap, seems, everyone wants you to *pay* for those. Hope that helps anyway. Good luck!

the only thing cheaper that I can think of, would be aftermarket knock-offs -- check American Muscle if that would be of interest to you

Was also going to mention aftermarket knock-offs as well.. In addition to checking American Muscle, also check places like CJ Pony Parts, Late Model Restoration and Summit Racing ..

Morimoto is owned by The Retrofit Source. You can buy directly from them on their website: www.theretrofitsource.com. I have the round Ford GT style ones on my 2013 Mustang. At one point, American Muscle had a version in one of their brands for more money. So double-check prices (especially including shipping).

He also clearly stated he's looking specifically for 2013 tall lights for their 2011/12 cars. I'm assuming that he prefers the 2013-14 tail light assemblies over the 2010-12 assemblies

Yes, some people have purchased OEM Ford 2013-2014 Mustang taillights and installed them on a 2010-2012 Mustang. This leaves a gap at the bottom edge since the taillights are shaped differently on the bottom where they meet the bumper. There were aftermarket filler pieces sold as well to cover that gap. The links above are alternative aftermarket housings that will fit a 2010-2012 directly without any need for a filler piece. One of the links I posted is the same design as the one you posted but shaped to 2010-2012 Mustang instead of a 2013-2014. Although it looks like all the pics they posted for that one are 2013-2014 and the pics of the round ones show two different versions and mixed year pictures as well.
