Hello all im from Ill and just wondering where are all the 2012 mustangs? There's not many to choose from in my area. The dealers have told me they are keeping inventory down. What gives????

It's the same thing in my area too. The smaller dealers have none or maybe one or two and even the huge ones have only a handful or so and many of these are 2011s. I haven't seen many 2010+ Mustangs on the road either.

I've heard that Ford is short on 3.7 V6s and what they have are going to the F-150. I also think the poor economy and high gas prices might have something to do with people not buying new "fun" coupes.

I can feel your pain. I am in Ill too. Maybe this is a reason to place an order rather than pick one up from the lot.

 

Where u guys in IL? Rod Baker Ford in Plainfield is where I go. I know they had a 2012 V6 MCA edition, a Boss, 2 Roush's -S2 n S3, n a GT500 a week ago. Not sure what you're looking for but if you don't live far give them a call. Their website is not always accurate for inventory. I got a good deal on my Roush Sport from them.
