When does 2013 Mustang production stop?

Hi all,

I've been eyeing up a new '13 GT for a while now, but I want to order one (I doubt a dealer will have one on the lot with the options I want). However, for financial reasons I plan on waiting until later in the year to put the order in.

The question is, how long can I wait before Ford stops accepting orders for 2013 models?

Thanks

I think last day to order a 2012 was late december last year so you have lots of time.

(I had a similar question before and a dealer replied with the below info)

11/29/12 is the "Final Orders due to Plant" date for the 2013 models.

The 2014 MY should be very close to the same so I wouldn't get to worried about rushing to order.

JIC any Canadians read this topic: In Canada we got cut off for ordering Mustang builds at the end of Sept. 2011 for MY 2012, and the end of Sept. 2010 for MY 2011. So best not to wait more than a couple months to order JIC the pattern continues this year.

That is true, just don't know if I can wait that long seeing all these "Check out my new '13 5.0!!!" threads everyday

My "financially responsible" side is saying hold out until you can put more $$$ down, but it's rapidly losing ground to the "I want it now!!!" side lol.

This is what I'm looking for! So if I want a '13, it's gotta be in by Nov.

Thanks

If you're disciplined enough to save money for a bigger down payment, you oughta be disciplined enough to throw that same money at the note you get 5 months earlier. Yeah, it'll cost you a bit more interest... but in the end, you're gonna 'spend' essentially the same money, but you'll be enjoying the ride sooner. If I were you and didn't NEED a bigger down payment, I'd be over at the dealer this afternoon.

^THIS!! Plus the interest rates are low right now if you have good credit not to mention incentives. I got my car at 2.95% and I got a lot off the top as well..
