I drive a 2012 GT and my work is 25 miles away so about 50 miles a day total... 3.31 gears, manual. Would love 3.73s but the average speed is about 80mph. Only really hit bumper-to-bumper traffic on the way home at around 5:30pm on the 101 because my house is close to the 101/405 interchange.. America's worst bottleneck.
I won't lie.. it hurts a little to see the mileage racking up

Years ago I bought a 1989 Mustang in 1992 with 115,000. Miles and I drove that car for years. It ended up being one of the most reliable cars Ive owned.

Well, at Dyess AFB it was 15 miles rountrip. When I am reunited with my Boss 302 next april/may at Spangdahlem AB Germany, it might be 20-30 miles rountrip.
I drive 16 miles / 32 miles RT (10 miles street / 22 Freeway) from Chino to San Dimas, CA via the 71 Freeway. 18 MPG is the average. The best MPG ever was 24.5 MPG on a round-trip to San Diego with cruise control on at 70 MPH. It was painful to cruise at 70 mph, but it was nice to go over 300 miles on one tank of gas.
i'm like the OP, I drive about 22 miles to work each way, so anywhere from 44-50+ miles depending on the route I take to get around traffic. 2012 GT with Manual and the stock gears. I get around 21-23mpg. I've only had the car since May 9 and I have about 1400 miles already. Yes it hurts to see the mileage racking up, so I'm hoping for a transfer soon.

190 miles round trip each day. This is why I had to go the route of the V6. Still, it performs great (3:31 axle), with an average of 24.1 to 24.7 MPG.
Very happy with the Mustang.

25 or so miles each day for work total, though all my fun drives and road trips have me averaging 56 miles per day since I bought the car last September. Already past 26,000 miles and not concerned about it a bit - I bought the car to drive it.
I won't use mine as a daily driver but I will probably put 300 or so miles a per week-end on the car during the summer months with 2 trips per month to Atlanta from Tampa.
my daily driver is my 2011 ****ty Impala company car....

I drive from Pacific Beach to Miramar and back almost daily. It's 15 miles each way; about half city and half highway/freeway. MPG has been 17 - 19 depending on how mellow I am with the gas pedal. Somedays I'll ride my bike for the exercise.
55 mile round trip every day, 100% city driving in rush hour traffic. The longest stretch without a traffic light is less than 2 miles.
Still manage to average 22.0 MPG with my V6.
