What are your winter plans?
I bought a bone stock 1995 Nissan 240SX (S14)
I figure, if I'm gonna drive a RWD car in the winter, might as well be something created for drifting lol....no seriously, I'm hoping my buddy drives us to work in the 4x4 when it snows

I'm in KC. We usually have lots of snow. Up past the axles. I'm getting ready to start searching Craigslist for an old FWD or 4x4 beater to drive this winter. Probably sell it in the spring. Any suggestions on a good, cheap, winter vehicles. Wranglers are too overpriced in my opinion.
few week back at local car show.. our RSVP count was 35 n when few clouds showed up that morning... only 4 people turned up to that event ... hmmm... we had a bike cruise also on the same day there were like 200 odd bikers.... cant understand how the world works... bikers willing to get wet in the rain n ponies not willing to ride in the rain.

I attended a Mustang gathering in Central Florida a couple of months ago (I won't mention the club particulars so as to not embarrass anyone). There were 4 of us that showed for the first time. It began to rain, and the group cleared out as if the paint was going to run off the sheet metal! The three of us stayed, went into the Hardees where the event took place and ate, talked and laughed over the whole thing.
I drove home in the rain, and was pleasently supprised to see all my paint was still intact when I washed the Mustang Sunday morning.
Since I always buy used, I should be happy to know that there will be plenty of garage queens available for purchase when the wheels fall off my current Mustang.

...its the thing dreams are made of! ...But I'm putting on a third garage stall so I can get all the toys and rolling stock back under one roof again. That'll put an end to the mods for a while~
A shame isn't it? I'm pretty sure ALL Mustangs came from the factory with windshield wipers....my window sticker did not show these as optional.

That's funny! I get the stink-eye and stupid questions when people see me driving the mine in the rain. When I tell them it gets wet when I wash it, they always get a puzzled look on their face. I avoid it when I can but don't go out of my way to keep it out of the rain. She won't go down this fall until snow is impending and won't get woken up in the spring until the salt has been washed off the roads. The Taurus or my old reliable F150 will get the nod all winter.

No rain for me... Or clouds for that matter lol. Only precipitation it sees is from hose water and mf mitt
There is so much dirt on the roads I travel, I'm more concerned about sandblasting on dry days from cars ahead of me. Not much a guy can do about it short of leaving it parked all the time...and what fun is that? She's going in for Clear-bra very soon. I resisted but am seeing that was not a wise decision~
We don't really get much snow here in MO but I have two 98 chevy 4x4 trucks when it does or the weather is bad as well as my 92 Cavalier daily driver. I don't have a problem driving mine in the rain, just no snow because they salt the roads here when it does.

Garaging mine. Will be driving the 98 Grand Ma with only 48,000 Kms on it and my 04 F350 diesel when the going gets tough.
the thought of plastering my GT with salty mud and have great frozen mud ice lumps hanging of it has zero appeal.
Pot holes and ice holes (sometimes those are other drivers) are brutal here. $2,000 worth of pothole damage on the grand ma from last winter / spring.
