I got a base '12 5.0 and after thinking about it... nothing.

Maybe 3.73s, but only because now I will travel only 10 local miles to new job instead of 27 miles each way on the highway just a few weeks ago.

I still regret that I do not have a V8 and maybe different color other than white. Other than that I could not ask for much more, though I really wish it had My Ford Touch like our Focus has.

Better stereo options
Antenna built into window
Hood struts

I've fixed the first and the last, but the second is out of my hands.

Adjustable pedals so my knees wouldn't hit the dash so often.
Heated mirrors.

Fungus? That's the first I'm hearing of this.

I'd like a vert maybe 10 days out the year.

I wish all the GT's came with the fake hood scoop, It just makes for a meaner look maybe there is someone in New Orleans that has a Ingot Silver GT with the hood and hates it and would swap hoods with me ?

The top is barely ever down on my vert but I really like it with the top up. Think it looks best with the top up and all 4 windows down.

I look at verts like this..... They look good with the top up, and days like this, it comes down with a push of the button!! Its like my 4x4 truck, i dont use the 4x4 on my truck often, but when i need it, its there!!

Completely agree with both of you guys. I have to compliment Ford on the solid structure of my Mustang GT vert. This is my fourth convertible and the only one that is about as solid is my 66 Impala, but that rides on a full frame.

Since you spent money on that rear spoiler, why don't ya just buy the hood scoop and add it if ya like it? It is available painted. You have to remember, not everyone likes the hood scoop so putting it on all GT's would create problems for those who do not want it and wish the holes were filled.

Eh maybe the color. Maybe the brembo package and the glass roof too. Either way, I'm just happy to be fortunate enough to afford a GT to begin with.

I ordered mine, and I skipped the NAV because I wanted a more old-school dash. If I had to do it all again, I'd probably add NAV -- there is not much room for a GPS, and I have tint on the windshield so I don't want to use a suction cup.

I wish the option of getting both seats power and heated would have been available.

Gotta disagree with the better stereo...I'd rather ford spend the money on making it a better car, not a mobile sound booth. There are better aftermarket options that are available if you're an audiophile. Making people pay more for a sound system they either don't need or don't appreciate is like putting fake hood scoops and non-functioning side scoops on every GT they produce. Not everyone wants it.

It was in '11, I've got it.
