When people see my car and ask if I'm going through a mid-life crisis, I just say "I've been driving Mustangs since I was 19".

I guess I must be about your age . . . because I want a RED one too . . . . and when my wife cracks jokes about my mid-life crisis, I say "nope, that was about 10 years ago . . . this is my second childhood!"

P.S. Do you remember that the "hood scoop" on the 77's was just a decal on the hood. It wasn't till the 78's did they put a real (although not-functional) hood scoop on.
I was asked the same and I said, I guess so if I'm going to live to 112.

Joe.
I gotta agree. I ordered a red candy though the Kona blue was tempting. The Ingot silver just got in the running too.
I can't have a mid-life crisis cuz I never grew up.
You have to get older but you don't have to get old.

i took my 05 gt vert manual out for a quick drive yesterday (first since early november) and as much as i want a 2011 gt i just cant let go; i have a tune etc and this is plenty fast enough for me; also, there is only 16500 miles on this car and the trade in is only around 17 -18,000 if i am lucky - so i would have my butt handed to me to trade this in; maybe in a year i will have different thoughts but this car has never been driven in the rain and is in great condition. Still, each to his own.

That had me cracking up so loud at work I just snorted. But I gotta say that I don't think I could pass up on the afterburners, a beer dispenser and two Playmates. Which rapid spec option is that one?
