What happened to the new incentives?

On 10/5 the incentives were updated to include the $1,000 rebate plus the 1.9% financing for 36 months. It was both not either or, and it was to run through 1/4/11. My salesman called me this morning and told me that it is now either or not both.

What is going on?

John,

The Ford website still says that they are compatible together.

I just checked the incentives in Texas and all they show is the low rate financing and no customer cash. The other day when I looked it showed the $1000 customer cash but it's not there today.

The custom cash incentive isn't on Ford's website anymore

Picking up car tomorrow. How can I convince my dealer it is still ongoing... even though Ford's official incentives page doesn't show it?

i thought you could lock them in at time of order at least thats what i was told this past Monday when i ordered my GT. and they say the 750 dollar coupon i got which has a Nov. 30th expiration date is locked in too. I also have a signed contract of what i need to bring at time of delivery and how much will be financed. That said i also saw the rebate and low interest rate but a few days later or maybe overnight the "AND" was changed to a "OR" which is what my Dealer said to "its a either or deal" not both

"Ford Motor Company reserves the right to modify the terms of this offer at any time." I really dislike that last line in the offers !!

just checked and yup the stang rebate is gone for now but the Taurus SHO still has 1500 AND lo rates !

There both on the So. Fla Ford dealers site. But they have a 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. 1 is the $1000 incentive and 2 is the financing. When I got mine it was the same thing and I had to choose between the two deals.

Same on the Ford website, but if you read the fine print it says the two can be combined.

The $1000 is missing from the incentive page, but if you build the car, then under "summary" click "get local offers", it shows up there.

I just checked and the $1000 is gone from both places for me here in Missouri. I was strongly considering ordering tomorrow afternoon. Now I'm not so sure I want to just yet.

Well, if you were to order one you wouldn't know for sure what the incentives would be at the time of delivey anyway. They don't go by what's available at time of order, only at time of delivery.

I entered 63110 (St Louis) and both the $1000 and the special financing are there. This is under "Build and Price" then "View local offers" then "2011 Mustang GT or V6."

I got mine about 2 weeks after you and they would not let me combine the deals. But that was the deal that expired on 10/4.

I wouldn't worry too much about just looking for the Ford published rebates, dealers always have ways to discount a car.

One the my local Ford dealer advertises Internet Specials, and my new 2011 Mustang GT base model with 3.73's was approx $4000.00 off MSRP with 3.9% APR. The MSRP price was $30890, Internet price was $26888.

That pricing alone put me in a Mustang, and the low APR allowed me to get some extras too.

Take a look at the site to see what you should be looking for at your local Ford dealers:

I just checked both places again using 63090 (Washington...less than an hour from Stl.) No $1000 off though. I was only concerned if rodmoe was right and I could actually get them locked in ahead of time. If not, I may just go order tomorrow anyway.

I'm not sure why you aren't seeing it but here is a screen shot using zip code 63090. Also see to the right in the fine print where it says they can be used together.

I see what I did. I had left the drop down box as "2011 Mustang". By changing it to "2011 Mustang GT" then the $1000 showed back up. Now if I can just convince them to lock that in with my $750 off coupon and Ford U $500 discount I'll be in business. Extra mod money!

You can't combine them. Either you get the 1k off, 750 off, or 1k off and 500 off. But you can't get all 3. And you also don't get the $750 off if you're getting x plan, a plan etc.

Yeah, there's a non-combination clause attached to the 750 sadly. At least there was with mine.
