What do you think of spacers to bring out stock rims?

You're right, they are. My point is that the spacers are designed to fix the ****ty offset of the stock wheels to make them fit like higher end aftermarket wheels. Whether or not they are good for the car is another bag of worms, but I don't think they are ricey.

A lot of folks seem to think that the RTR wheels stick out too much (especially in the back) so there is some debate on this.
Personally, I want whatever performs the best.

I can definitely respect your opinion on this. I will agree that a subtle increase in offset like the RTR wheels have does look a bit better...but I'm extremely hesitant to do any mods for the sake of looks that hurt performance and or longevity. Simply my opinion...

A 25mm spacer is a big spacer, thats 1". Normally I would tell people not to go beyond a 15mm spacer, if you need more than this I would probably go with a aftermarket wheel.

I took the 20mm for the winter-wheels for one reason, so that i can use the stock 8x18 rims with the Brembos.
The other reason ist, that i want to keep the original style. And as you see on the picture below, that fits perfect
But you´re right, anything above 15 - 20mm will be an additional stress to the wheel bearings.

Once you get a quality spacer theres nothing wrong with em... I ran them on plenty of cars on my day and never had a single issue. Dont let the closed minded folk scare u away... they're perfectly safe

Rear studs have to be grinded also. And after measuring I found that an adjustable panhard bar is also very necessary, or one wheel would stick out 1/4 inch and one would be reve recessed 1/4 inch.
