i plan on keeping the 2 i have and getting a late 11 or mid 12. depends on when i get the bills paid off and the current loan on the 06 paid. looking at the end of 2010 for this. after that i will think about another depending on what comes out in 2012. also, if they dont jack the price up like they do on shelby's i should be able to get another one.

I'm keeping mine until they start going back to all painted rockers, bumpers, etc. I'm not buying a new car just to pull stuff off for colormatching.

Not sure yet, I have toyed with all 3 ideas. Right now I want to build what I have.

Thinking a Procharger or Vortech that is upgradeable so that years down the road when I want to build the lower end I can upgrade the S/C. But my mind changes quite often.

yea im in the same boat you are. I guess the decision will be made when the official #'s, times and reviews come out and the price of the GT.

My lease is up 2 days after they start building the '11s. If I find a job by then i'm shooting for a GT-500.

I agree the only worry I have is that by the time the numbers/reviews are out on the Boss all the orders could be snapped up and the ADM could be huge. If I were to order one early I may be able to get it closer to MSRP, but there will be no reviews or #'s on the car. I guess at that point if I'm not impressed with what the Boss has to offer then I could just go with a GT or keep what I have.

I think that will be my plan, the longer I wait the more i have paid off on the 07.

In all honesty I think that the Boss will be a lot like the SN95 Bullitt's & Mach 1's. I don't think we are going to see huge numbers from it. I know in the Boss thread everyone is going for all kinds of factory racing type equipment, but I doubt that Ford will be able to offer all of that for under GT500 pricing. Maybe in the future we will get to see a GT500/Cobra R offering the racer type equipment smilier to the 95 & 00 Cobra R. As much as I enjoy seeing Shelby back in the Ford/Mustang game I miss the SVT Cobra's, there is just something about saying "I own a COBRA"

No matter what happens though I think the next few years are going to be quite fun and exciting for Ford fans and anyone who is lucky enough to buy one.

I'm a-keepin' mine and depending on what the Boss is and how much it costs I'll either get one of those, go Roush supercharger on my '10 or just wait for the 2014.

That's my plan as well! I'm keeping 06VistaBlueGT and adding a 14th 50th GT Coupe loaded with EVERY DANG OPTION in whatever Grabber color they offer (hopefully if Grabber Blue is still here. If not, Grabber Green is nice too).

Keeping mine since I haven't even begun modding it. And the more mods they make for the '10 and up, the cheaper it becomes to mod the '05-'09. Heh!

Keeping my 2010 until ~2014 when they redesign. This will give Ford a few years to work out the bugs in the new 5.0 and hopefully bump up the HP.

You left out (at least) one option. Keeping what I have, and getting a new 5.0 GT. I'm definitely keeping my '01 Bullitt, and I'll probably keep my 2008 GT as well, as it will be paid off sometime next spring, although I may trade it off for a 2008 Bullitt if I can find the right car for the right price. Right now plans call for ordering either a late 2011 or early 2012 5.0 GT with track pack in the next year to year and a half.

I'm not going anywhere with new vehicles at the moment. My '05 only has 10k on it and its just freshly paid for. I want to bask in the sunshine of having only a single car payment for at least a couple years. While the prospect of the '11 is really cool, I just can't do it anymore, economics being what they are.
